Three decades. Two brothers. One family craft — carried from New England to the Lowcountry, and back again.

Hardwood flooring wasn't a career choice for us — it was the sound of home. Our father built this business in New England more than thirty years ago, board by board, referral by referral. Weekends were spent in his van, learning the difference between red oak and white oak by feel.
Gabriel and his brother grew up in it. We watched him level a subfloor with the patience of a violin-maker. We watched him talk to homeowners the way a doctor talks to family. Somewhere along the way, we became the second generation.
Today we run Navarro Hardwood Artistry together — two brothers, one crew, one standard. We recently brought the shop south to Charleston, drawn by the Lowcountry's old homes and slower pace. But we've never left Boston. The neighborhoods that taught us this trade are still on our schedule every year.
We're not a franchise. We're not a showroom. We're a small family business built on thirty years of finishing floors the right way — and treating every home like it belongs to someone we know.
— Gabriel & the Navarro family
Our father set up shop in Massachusetts, laying and refinishing hardwood floors across Greater Boston and beyond.
Gabriel and his brother grew up in the workshop — first sweeping sawdust, then running boards, then running crews.
The brothers took the reins together, carrying the same standards and the same quiet obsession with the wood itself.
We planted new roots at 1674 Folly Road in Charleston — while continuing to serve the Boston homes we've known for a generation.
